With the growth of the plant-based foods more people are wanting to turn to this way of eating for their health and the environment. To make this simple try this 3-step method to transition to a healthy plant-based way of eating.

You certainly don’t want to make things hard for yourself in the kitchen. Meal planning can be daunting enough without having to worry about whether or not the food you’re offering has the right nutritional value.

You’ll find that by using these three tactics meal planner and making will become, should I say…. fun!

Let’s begin.

1. Think of 3 meals you are currently enjoying. Are they predominantly plant-based already?
For example — do you have a favourite pasta dish?
A portion of pasta with a marinara sauce is delicious. Switch it to very healthy by using whole grain pasta and adding some veggies like broccoli or spinach. Instead of a dairy-based parmesan, use a plant-based version which you can easily make yourself by blitzing up:

  • 3/4 cup raw cashews
  • 3 Tbls nutritional yeast
